Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V brought a lot of archetypes from the screen to the tcg, more than any other anime series. While some of these were extremely relevant, like Phantom Knights, Lunalight and Pendulum Magicians, some others were not so lucky. Decks like Battlewasp, Prediction Princess or Yosenju failed to make any splash in the game. Melodious fits this latter category. Played by one of Arc-V’s main characters, Yuzu Hiiragi (Zuzu Boyle in the english dub), this music-inspired archetype has utterly failed to achieve any sort of relevance. So, why’s that?
