When you inbreed parent lines and then judiciously outcross them into elite feminized f1 hybrid cannabis cultivars, you will see much higher yields than almost any type of clonally propagated populations that you could put out in the field. Cannabis grown from seed is incredibly vigorous and in most cases will out perform clones, especially if you are comparing apples to apples so to speak by testing seed lots against their clonal counterparts; ie a lot of blue dream seed against a blue dream clone population.
