Temple style Prasadam Pulihora #pulihora Ingredients and procedure😊 The below mentioned ingredients are for 250grms of Boiled rice 👍 First for Pulihora Powder In a pan fry Fenugreek seeds -1/4spn, Mustard seeds -1/4spn Cumin -1/4spn Chana daal -1/2spn Urad daal- 1/2spn Pepper -1/2spn Coriander -1spn Dry red chillies -5,6 Sesame seeds -1/2spn and allow it cool and grind like powder ( you can also store this powder in an air tight box ) Next in a pan add 5spoons oil add peanuts -1/4cup ( you can increase the quantity if you like peanuts more ) Chana daal -1spn Urad daal -1spn Mustard -1spn ( Ginger - 1/2 inch chopped and green chillies -5,6 ) are for flavour only if you offer it for god's like naivedyam some times you have skip these two because for some they don't add these two ingredients 😊 Dired red chillies -5 Turmeric -1/4spn Hing -1/4spn Curry leaves -10 Tamarind extract - take big size lemon of tamarind and soak in a small bowl of hotwater for 10min and squeeze it nicely Jaggery - 1/2 inch and cook it till oil separates.... pulihora always needs some high oil or else after couple of hours when it is completely done looks like dry Now take 250grms of boiled rice and add 1-2 spns of pulihora Powder ( already done previously) Salt to taste😋 Then boiled tamarind paste.and mix them nicely with hands because hand itself release some flavour that's why same food is different from hand to hand ✋ Or else you can mix it with spatula 🤷🏻♀️ That's it 😁 let this pulihora must be covered with plate and rest it for couple of hours to get the all flavours to rice ...
