'Unchained Melody' - The Goons

I first heard The Goons - Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe, in my conservative little Australian country town back when people sat around and listened to the radio. It was a revelation, pure British silliness, nonsense for its own sake. And the characters, Eccles, Bluebottle, Neddy, Min and Henry, Grytpype-Thynne and Moriarty, it was wonderful. And they used radio so well with lots of absurd situations and lots of silly sound effects. All the Monty Python boys said they grew up with the Goons and Peter, Spike and Harry were a great influence on them, you can see why, great characters doing and saying ridiculous things! This very silly song is Sellers in his cheeky school boy Bluebottle persona.
