i have no idea how windmill isle's music overlay got stuck... oh well. i can't be bothered to fix it at this point lmao. oh. the endscreen text is also not changed from "more snow." chat i just might be bald. past that, i'm really happy with how the video turned out. yall sent in some really good levels and trip is starting to become one of my absolute favorite characters in this game. she's so simple -- just a double jump, a spindash, an incredibly powerful wall climb, and a ceiling cling for very niche situations. and i just loooove simplicity over anything -- chars like hinote, amy, and robo hood all appeal to me so much more than chars like modern or x sonic. i don't manage to do much with the ceiling cling but i find a place or two to fit it in. i think the only thing i outright don't like about trip is her diet dropdash cutting speed completely, it feels like a missed opportunity for great character flow. i think ideally i'd set it to diminish your speed slightly -- no more than 10 fu/t per dropdash -- so you're still incentivized to make frame perfect jumps but you still have the option in case there's a tight corner you need to get around. go ahead and suggest more stages for trip if you'd like, but just know two things if you do: i might not get around to another one of these, at least for a while, and i probably won't be running requests with different characters. i just.. can't run something i'm not interested in, you know? i don't mind getting requests either way, but just don't be let down if i don't end up doing anything with your requests one way or another -- no promises, right? as a side note, i'm not confident in the route in redcurrant brewery. you see, for some reason, trip just... can't climb walls in the 2.2 sugoi port. i swear, the more i hear and see about this port, the worse of a port it becomes. anyway, seeing this, i just assumed the walls were unclimbable and routed around that. once i realized what was going on, i, uh... fixed the problem for later runs on the series. definitely didn't use a portleg, nope. i'd never. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- mods used, in order: trip - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/trip-the-s... emerald knoll - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/emerald-kn... redcurrant brewery is in kimokawaii - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/sugoi.6427/ flame rift - https://mb.srb2.org/threads/team-pris... illumination aerie is in subarashii - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/sugoi.6427/ frozen fissure - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/official-l... panic's fury - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/official-l... orbital complex is from sugoi - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/sugoi.6427/ seaside hill - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/seaside-hi... morning heights is in kimokawaii - https://mb.srb2.org/addons/sugoi.6427/ music used, also in order: windmill isle (day) -    • Windmill Isle (Day) - Sonic Unleashed [OST]   planet wisp, act 1 -    • Planet Wisp (Act 1) - Sonic Colors [OST]   second wind -    • Second Wind - Sonic Mvt.   mermaid falls -    • Shantae: Half-Genie Hero OST - Mermaid Falls   it wasn't in the video, but mermaid factory is that much of a banger that i'm including it anyway -    • Shantae: Half-Genie Hero OST - Mermaid Fac...   thanks for watching
