Ted Liu Co-founder , Kaiyuanshe Ted Liu is a long-term advocate and volunteer for open-source. He is the co-founder of kaiyuanshe, a ground-up open-source alliance in China; he is also a member of the Apache Software Foundation (ASF), where he serves as an incubator PMC & mentor of a few projects and also community development PMC. Ted also acts as an open-source advisor to a few enterprises, such as Tencent, Huawei, and BAIN & Company. Before Ted devoted himself to open source full-time, he was the Director of Strategic Business Development of Microsoft China, Chief Technology Evangelist of Microsoft Open Technologies and Microsoft Asia Pacific R&D Group, Director of Channels and Alliances of Oracle China, Director of Linux Strategy, General Manager of Middleware Business Unit of Greater China; Vice President of Turbolinux Asia Pacific, etc.
