Highlights of the World Indigenous Business Forum 2023 in Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea hosted the World Indigenous Business Forum (WIBF) from October 24 to 26, 2023, at APEC Haus in Port Moresby. This prestigious international event brought together 150 international delegates from 14 countries and 350 participants from various parts of Papua New Guinea over three eventful days. The WIBF was meticulously organised by the Marape Government, led by Minister for International Trade and Investment, Hon. Richard Maru, in close collaboration with the National Capital District Commission (NCDC), especially NCD Governor, Hon. Powes Parkop, and his dedicated 'Amazing Port Moresby' team. The Papua New Guinea Special Economic Zone Authority (SEZA) was one of the Platinum sponsors of the event and is proud to bring you highlights of the World Indigenous Business Forum on this channel. The forum commenced with a spectacular opening ceremony hosted by NCDC and the Amazing Port Moresby team at Sir Hubert Murray Stadium on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, from 5 pm to 9 pm. The event reached its climax with a memorable closing ceremony, orchestrated by NCDC and the Amazing Port Moresby team, at Ela Beach on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 6 pm to 9 pm.
