Australia is making its biggest investment in naval power in generations, more than doubling the surface combatant fleet. With new Hunter-class frigates, general-purpose warships, and uncrewed drone ships, the Royal Australian Navy is set to become more powerful than ever. Plus there will be increased lethality with long range strike and maritime strike upgrades such as the Tomahawk cruise missile from Raytheon, of which Australia is purchasing 200.
