Tonight I was thinking and praying about our brothers and sisters sleeping on concrete. Maybe they have a blanket beneath them. Maybe a blanket pulled over them. And tonight might be a cool night. Meanwhile, many of us are sitting in the warmth of our homes. This isn’t meant to bring guilt — only awareness and love. What if each day we chose to be ready to give? Always have something with you: • a snack • a bottle of water • a blanket • a dollar in your pocket Whatever you have — give it in peace and love. And if you don’t feel peace or love in your heart at that moment, it may not be the right time. But if you do have something to give — then give. “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” — Matthew 25:40 May we walk gently, give freely, and love intentionally. ⸻ Title Option 2 Always Carry Something to Give — A Simple Way to Love the Homeless Description Tonight I was praying about those sleeping on the streets — on cold concrete — while many of us rest in warm homes. Some may have a blanket. Some may not. But we can be ready. Always have something with you: • water • a snack • a blanket • a few dollars Your ministry doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. It just has to be done in peace and love. If peace isn’t there, wait. If love is there, give. Simple obedience. Simple compassion. Simple love. ⸻ Title Option 3 Give What You Have, When You Have Peace Description I was thinking tonight about the homeless sleeping on concrete — and praying. How different our nights can be. What if we chose to always be ready? A snack in the car. Water in the truck. A dollar in our pocket. Giving isn’t about pressure — it’s about peace. If you can give with love, then give. If not, wait until you can. Let everything be done in peace and love.
