Sunrise Sea Of Clouds Over Chiang Khan | Loei Thailand 🇹🇭

It was our last day here in the beautiful mekong River town of Chiang Khan here in the chilly province of Loei Thailand 🇹🇭 We headed out at half 5 in the morning in a tuk Tuk to Phu Tok! A mountain here in Chiang Khan that has a very special view. We arrived at the base of the mountain and bought tickets for the return truck shuttle to the top for 40 THB each, once at the top it was still pitch black and there was quite a lot of people there for a Monday! Now the good part we found a nice little spot and watched the sun come up slowly revealing the most beautiful sunrise I've ever seen here in Thailand, the daylight revealed a huge thick sea of clouds below us the views were honestly phenomenal! We then headed back to Loei town, our tuk Tuk friend Chang took us there and back for 100 THB each, once back we had some very special noodles, noodles that have been made for over 70 years by 3 different generations, they were a hybrid of sukiyaki, Tom yum and yen ta fo and id say they were some of the tastiest I've had in all Thailand seriously. Then we got our bicycles from the guesthouse and headed out into the countrysides on a mission to find some temples and meet nice thai people. We found a temple on the top of a hill with absolutely nobody there, it was again just an amazing experience exploring unknown small sites, the views here were crazy over the town of chiang Khan and the Mekong and also into Laos! We spent the afternoon cycling through these rural thai countryside roads enjoying the nature this part of Thailand has to offer, Isan is such an amazing place I have no idea why tourists don't visit the northeastern region....
