Canon PowerShot S100 : This is by far the best compact camera that I have ever owned and continue to own. I am very impressed with the build as well as the features of the Canon S100. https://geni.us/CPF6 [Amazon] The feature that I love most about this camera is that it has a very fast f/2.0 lens that allows me to take beautiful portrait pictures. I love using this camera in two modes, one is the program mode and the other mode is the manual mode. I don't use this camera to shoot videos, but this camera does a wonderful job of shooting some basic video as well. I carry this camera with me in my shirt pocket when I go to church or travel for business. It is light and it is durable. I do not like newer model cameras that have touch screen and constantly beep when they focus. This camera not only produces great 4x6 pictures but also spectacular 8x10 prints. I do not care for the flash as I do not take pictures at night and I do not believe that a compact camera emits enough light to properly light a scene. I have compared the S100 to the Canon S110 and S120 and I still feel like this camera is truly the best compact that Canon has released in the last several years. The only two things that would make the camera better would be battery life and weather sealing. These two are not a make or break for me and so I'm happy to give this camera five stars.
