Boba Tea | Mango Black Tea | Trader Joe's Recipe

Hey guys, today we're making Mango Boba Tea using Trader Joe's mango black tea. This is a really basic recipe and I normally just boil water and add the tea bags to a cup with boba, but we're going to be fancy today. 1) Cooking Boba: You can cook boba according to package instructions. I just add the uncooked boba to cold water and wait for the water to boil. Then I turn off the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes. I find that this is the perfect texture leaving it chewy without being too mushy. Then drain add the boba to the cup with any sweetener. I just use simple syrup with is just a 1:1 mixture of sugar and water. 2) Mango Tea I just use the Trader Joe's Mango Black Tea, but you can use any tea you like. Some kind of black tea usually works best for milk tea. I use 2 tea bags to get the right strength. Cut open the bags and dump it into water and let it boil. Once the water has boiled turn off the heat and add any kind of milk. Strain the tea and add it to your boba.
