Volkswagen Crafter Campervan build series episode 1. In todays episode we take the big leap and cut some HUGE holes in our new 2014 Volkswagen crafter that we are turning into the ULTIMATE off grid campervan. Watch how we tackle the task of fitting A2B Conversion Side pod flares (similar to flare space) and windows into our MWB Crafter. Hopefully you pick up some tips and tricks on the way to help with your own self build conversions. We firstly cut all the reinforcement ribs of using an angle grinder. Once this is done we started cutting the holes out using an air powered nibbler. Next up came the big task of bonding the new A2b conversions flares .https://www.a2bconversions.com/ These will give us the opportunity to sleep width ways in a MWB crafter van. Giving as a full width ways 6 foot 4 Bed! These fitted perfectly and we loved the quality from A2B conversions. We then continued to cut out some more huge holes to fit our windows to allow loads more light into the van.
