CCHI's certification for healthcare interpreters starts with the knowledge exam - CoreCHI™. This exam is intended for medical interpreters of any language. The exam is accredited by NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies). As of April 30, 2020, eligible candidates can take this exam online, at any time, in any home location (in addition to taking it at a physical test center in the U.S.).
