He initially bought the bike with plans to transform it into a cafe racer. Although it ran smoothly at first, it sat idle for years, and bad gas eventually ruined the fuel pump, rendering the bike inoperable. He decided to part ways with the project and offered it to me. After replacing the battery, fuel pump, and injectors, I got it running again. A compression test showed all four cylinders were in great shape. I took it for a few neighborhood rides, and it performed wonderfully, with only minor issues like dry-rotted and leaky hoses needing attention. With just over 25k miles on the original odometer, and a peek at the internals, it looks like this K100 might truly be low mileage.
