We learned a recent City of Sanford meeting that the governor of Maine passed into law earlier this year that all municipalities in Maine must allow mobile homes (manufactured homes) on all residential lots. Since we are dealing with so much opposition to our campground effort, we are wondering if a mobile home development could be a better option for us. What do you think? Mobile homes vs campground? Which would be better for the community? This would not be a mobile home park but, would be a maine mobile homes community. Mobile Homes Vs. campground, that is the questions we are trying to answer. My wife and I have dreamed about become part of the maine campground community but, we have to stay open to other ideas especially because we are dealing with so much campground opposition.
