My previous run on Clipper wasn't the most fun, and yet the windswept powder called my name. With the sun a little higher, it was easier to make out where the "intended" trail is, as in, where everyone else had already smoothed out the hardpack. In the shade that was much more difficult though! Normally I'd love to venture out into some untouched powder nearby, but today was not the day for that haha. Advice: While the official "trail" is no longer easy to find, try to discern where most people have gone if snow conditions are tough like today. It will generally be more skiable than on nearby windswept powder. I suggest cutting to the right under the lift roughly halfway down, but I was a little too soon and ended up in some pretty nasty snow.
