PNP Chief Pays Last Command Visit in PRO 10

Police Regional Office 10- Philippine National Police, Chief PGEN RODOLFO S AZURIN JR paid his last command visit in Police Regional Office 10 at Camp 1Lt Vicente G Alagar on Sunday, April 16, 2023. General Azurin is the 28th Chief of the Philippine National Police and is set to retire on April 24, 2023. He visited PRO10 to attend a series of activities such as the blessing and inauguration of the PRO10 Admin Building, Blessing of Heroes Wall, Turnover and Blessing of Bachelors Officers Quarter (BOQ) 1, Blessing of 42 Motorcycle Units, and Presentation of Confiscated Firearms (Kontra Boga). The activity was also highlighted with the presentation of awards to deserving PNP personnel who have done commendable acts in the performance of their duty. General Azurin then graced the Induction of Officers for Life Coaches and Faith-Based Leaders of PRO10 together with the PRO10 Command Group. In his message, General Azurin said that the success of the PNP in addressing the threats such as crimes, insurgency, and terrorism depends on the ability to work together effectively and to leverage our strengths as a team, one in heart, and one in purpose. He also stated several areas where he believed that PNP can further enhance its capabilities and effectiveness. “First, we must continue to prioritize community-based policing and engagement. Second, we must focus on developing and utilizing technology and data to improve our operations and investigations. And third, we must continue to prioritize the welfare and professional development of our officers,” he said. General Azurin expressed his deep appreciation to PRO10 for its commitment to the actualization of the Peace and Security Framework, M+K+K=K, and the KASIMBAYANAN Program. Further, he then presided over a command conference with the PRO10 Command Group and other Directorial Staff Present. During the Command Conference, PBGEN LAWRENCE B COOP, Regional Director, presented the M+K+K=K and KASIMBAYANAN Accomplishments of PRO10, followed by the staff announcement of the Directorial Staff, and Command Guidance of the Chief PNP. ### SOURCE: RPIO PRO10
