My guest today is Dr. Doris Moencke from Alfred University in New York. She is a glass scientist interested in the relationship between structure and glass properties. Her main focus is on optical properties and color in glasses. She has taught and conducted research in several countries, including Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Brazil, and the United States. I asked her about the differences between the educational systems in Europe and the U.S. She has also studied ancient glasses, which is a fascinating topic. In this episode, you’ll hear amazing stories about one of her recent archaeological research projects on glasses made 3,000 years ago. Without further ado, please stay tuned and watch this exciting interview with Dr. Doris Moencke! ------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I'm Mojtaba Abbasi, a Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry (at the time of writing this description!). I've been working on glasses for several years. Recently NMR has become the primary characteristic technique for exploring the glass structure. I'll post content mainly related to these two topics on this channel. I am excited about this channel and look forward to sharing exciting content here. By the way, I have another channel named Timeless Nature, in which I share nature videography and photography content, which are my new hobbies. ------------------------------------------------------------ Watch Next: Hand in Glove:NMR and Glass Science.Interview with prof.
