A tour of the "Nissen Shed" campsite facilities at The Loft

Welcome to The Loft Glamping & Camping in beautiful Moray Speyside, Scotland. Here is a quick tour of our campsite facilities at our "Nissen Shed" at The Loft Glampig & Camping. These include kitchen, toilets, showers, baby change, accessible shower room and picnic area. The Nissen Shed was part of our site development with the European Union LEADER fund to develop rural diversification businesses which begun in 2018. The Nissen Shed was originally located at RAF Kinloss (now Kinloss Barracks) and was moved to our farm in the 1950s and served an agricultural shed. The condition deteriorated over the years and as our glamping and campsite business developed we wanted to renovate and rebuild from this unusual shell of a building and create a fantastic, modern and accessible facility for our guests. The build was completed by MacGilivray Construction Ltd in 2020. Initial architectural and planning drawings we're completed by HHL Scotland.
