Follow along as we wander through quaint fishing harbours, get lost in lush botanical gardens, and soak up the sun on pristine white-sand beaches. Immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant wildlife that call the Scilly Isles home. With every frame, you'll experience the island's unique charm, and with each story shared, you'll be transported to a place where time stands still. This is my return journey from a few years ago. It was that good I promised myself a longer stay to experience true Isles of Scilly travel. So, pack your sense of adventure, and let's embark on a virtual voyage through the mesmerising Scilly Isles! I filmed this in September 2022. My journey takes me around St Marys, where I visit Buzza Hill. Encountering the first of a number of pre historic mounds. Culminating in the most famous on the island. The Porth Hellick down burial chamber. I take in the Garrison area where the star castle hotel is. Have a pint in the dungeons, and continue exploring island life wandering around the Woolpack battery. Walking around the coast. You take in sights such as the Pennines head lighthouse and pulpit rock. St Agnes is a beautiful island. The ice cream at Troy town farm is legendary. The Troy town maze is a must. Story has it that if you enter the maze and walk to the centre and back out... you will return to the islands. Walk along the sand bar that connects to Gugh and delight in Obadaiha's Barrow and the standing stone called the old man of Gugh. The island of Tresco stands out. Tresco abbey Gardens is world renowned for its flora due to the temperate climate. Experience the island defences in the old blockhouse, King Charles castle and Cromell's castle. At low tide twice yearly. You can actually walk across from Tresco to Bryher. When I crossed, the tide was its lowest for years so it was easy. my last day saw me on St Martin's. This island only has the one road so navigation is a breeze. Suffering the wind more than the other locations, being stood at the impressive day mark was for the hardy only! My return to the Isles of Scilly was well worth it. I just hope I did it more justice than my previous 48hrs a few years ago. And, due to the fact that I walked around the Maze,.......it looks like one day I will return again! 0:00 Day one 3:10 St Mary's 6:44 St Agnes & Gugh 11:52 How to get to Scilly 15:45 Tresco 19:54 Bryher 23:58 St Martin's Follow me: Instagram: http//instagram.com/thecowboycamper Twitter: http//twitter.com/thecowboycamper Web: http//www.thecowboycamper.com youtube: @thecowboycamper1195 Music: All tracks on the accompanying videos are courtesy of Epidemic sound.
