A terrifying hostage crisis in Mumbai's Powai area at RA Studio, where Rohit Arya (a 35-year-old YouTuber and studio employee) lured 17 children (aged 10-15) and 2 adults for a fake web series audition, then held them captive. In a chilling video, Arya threatened: “The slightest wrong move will trigger me to burn this place and die in it.” Described as mentally unstable, he claimed it was for a “moral conversation” over work dues. After a 2-4 hour standoff, Mumbai Police stormed in via the bathroom, rescuing everyone safely. Arya fired an air gun at officers, was shot in the chest, and died in hospital.
