[PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION] Here is the starting lineups intro from Game 3 in the first round of the 1999 NBA Playoffs, where the Rockets faced the Los Angeles Lakers. Houston would win this game; however, they would go on to lose the series 3-1. Following this series, Scottie Pippen was traded to the Portland Trailblazers; Steve Francis, Shandon Anderson, Moochie Norris, Kenny Thomas, and Kelvin Cato would join the Rockets. During the 1999-2000 season, Charles Barkley got injured which forced his retirement, ending his 16-year NBA career, and the Rockets would enter the Dark Age (1999-2003), in which they lost a lot of games and missed the playoffs for 4 straight years until the 2003-2004 season. Games 3 and 4 were played at the The Summit (later Compaq Center), which is now the Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. The Rockets Public Address Announcer is Mario Nanni, and the play-by-play announcers are Bill Worrell and Hall of Famer Calvin Murphy, two Rockets legend, along with sideline reporter Lisa Malosky. All footage and audio are owned by the National Basketball Association (NBA), Houston Rockets, and RocketsVision.
