BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's Walsall Station (West Midlands) on 29th May 1992 Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Walsall taken on 29/05/1992. A rather wet but calm day from the shelter of the adjoining multi storey car park beside the station I managed to capture a variety of workings in the hands of Class 31s, Class 37s, Class 47s, and Class 58s. The half hourly shuttles between here and Birmingham were formed of 4 car EMUs. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
