Hello, today's tour is in Bamberg city. The historic town of Bamberg, lies on the western edge of a wide basin in the valley of the Regnitz. Significant part of the medieval old town is well preserved and it is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking in the city, crossing its streets and bridges is a real great experience. Starting from the Obere Brücke, the pedestrian-only Upper Bridge with an amazing medieval architecture everywhere around. Some are calling it "Little Venice," with its quaint old fishermen's houses. And pass through the bridge where the Old town hall (Altes Rathaus) lies, it's one of the most photographed historic landmarks in Bavaria. Then we explore the other parts of the old town of Bamberg and cross the other bridges with a fantastic views of the buildings around them before we move to the Bamberg Cathedral (Bamberger Dom), its full name is St. Peter's and St. George's Imperial Cathedral and the surrounding great buildings and gardens.
