The mountains there are lined with rosemary. A fragrant herb, but also a great dyesource. So in today's shenanigans we're going to dye with the rosemary! However, that's not the only focus of my experiments: I also want to know whether or not it actually matters if you dye your wool as unspun floof or as yarn. I had noticed that spun yarn takes up colour darker. Is this at all true? I put both the scoured wool and the handspun yarn together in the dyepot and lo and behold, it actually seems to be the case.
