Brockenbahn Steam Train 🚂 Dampflok zum Brocken im Nebel | Steam Whistle | Harz Germany

Atmospheric steam train moments from the historic Brockenbahn in the Harz Mountains, Germany. In October I travelled on the famous Brocken Railway with this beautiful historic steam locomotive. Standing outside the wagon and hearing the classic steam train whistle made the whole journey feel like a scene from an old movie. As the train climbed through the forest, mist slowly filled the mountains and created an almost surreal atmosphere. At the top of the Brocken I even encountered a fox that apparently visits the station quite often. Location: Harz Mountains, Germany Railway: Brockenbahn / Harzer Schmalspurbahnen — Im Oktober bin ich mit der berühmten Brockenbahn im Harz auf den Brocken gefahren. Die Fahrt mit der historischen Dampflok war etwas ganz Besonderes. Ich konnte außerhalb des Waggons stehen, den Dampf hören und das typische „Tuut-Tuut“ der Lokomotive erleben. Mit dem Nebel im Wald und der herbstlichen Landschaft fühlte sich die ganze Fahrt fast wie eine Szene aus einem alten Film an. Oben auf dem Brocken ist mir sogar ein Fuchs begegnet, der dort offenbar regelmäßig auftaucht.
