The college adopts the 10 program intended learning outcomes of the commission on higher education. Anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry are the major subjects during the first year accompanied by integrated subjects in research, preventive and family medicine, patient-doctor relationship, and history and perspective of medicine. In the second year, our students will deal with pathology, micro-parasitology, and pharmacology as their major subjects. During this time, clinical subjects in all major departments will also be introduced. Semestral subjects include neurology, follow-up lectures on research, and preventive and family medicine. In their third year, our medical students will go deeper into understanding the disorders of the different organs with their clinical subjects particularly medicine, pediatrics, surgery and obstetrics, and gynecology. Sub-specialty subjects will also be tackled as their semestral subjects including research and preventive medicine. For the clinical clerkship, our students will rotate in the major departments at region ii trauma and medical center which is our base hospital and likewise located here in Nueva Vizcaya. Two comprehensive exams will be given divided into basic and clinical subjects given at the end of the second year before allowing them to be promoted to third year and mid of their clerkship before graduation. All our faculty are experienced to handle areas of their specialties.
