U.S.S. Pampanito World War II Submarine Tour, San Francisco

A full point-of-view tour of the USS Pampanito submarine moored at Pier 45 in San Francisco. There's nothing like seeing this floating museum in person, but hopefully this video does the tour some justice. My grandfather once served on similar submarines during WWII when he was in his twenties. These fighting vehicles of that bygone era were remarkable feats of engineering for their time. If you visit San Francisco and are a history buff, be sure to check out the Pampanito (in Fisherman's Wharf).
