BEAUTIFUL 2017 Mitsubishi DiamondTrac MRL Traction Elevators at The Charter Hotel in Seattle, WA

Filmed on January 3rd, 2023 with ‪@WestCoastElevators‬ How can anyone not love a Mitsubishi!?! After making their US debut in California over 40 years ago, Japan's largest elevator company has slowly but surely been expanding to other parts of the US over the past 2 decades, even making it to my local area in Tampa a few years ago! However, prior to opening an office in Tampa, they opened an office up in Seattle, the largest West Coast city outside of California, and they've now slowly but surely been starting to make their presence up here! As I'm sure you all know, I'm quite tired of seeing all of the modern elevator junk in my area, and whenever I travel to other cities, I always try to film as little of it as possible, but Mitsubishi is an EXCEPTION to that as compared to other modern elevators, they feel VERY HIGH QUALITY, are LUXURIOUSLY Smooth, have the COOLEST Chimes and most foreign looking lanterns, fixtures and indicators, and these elevators are definitely no exception to that! And because of that, even though Mitsubishi has now started installing elevators in Tampa and there's quite a few of them now, I still wanted to see these while I was in Seattle, and I'm certainly glad I did! These elevators are not only beautiful and a ton of fun and high quality, but are quite unique with 3 DIFFERENT Door/Cab Configurations in ONE Bank! (2 Center opening, 1 single slide, and then a service car with a 2 speed door and a hospital sized cab!) In addition to that, these elevators feature many Unique Mitsy characteristics from the Foreign style indicators, flashing lanterns, Door bumpers that double as sensors, and even the call cancel feature! I know you guys are probably wondering how I'd rank these vs. the Installations in Tampa, OBVIOUSLY the DOAS install in Tampa is unbeatable, and I do find the Hard Rock and the Edition to be nicer than these elevators aesthetically. That being said though, these absolutely DESTROY the JW Marriott being that these use Mitsubishi's ACTUAL in house VR Fixtures and Indicators as opposed to the Touchscreens the JW has. And yes, these elevators are a few years older than the ones in Tampa, but they don't look or feel it, and despite the fact these elevators are now 6 years old, they don't feel it ONE BIT, which can't be said about many MRL elevators from other companies installed the same year as these, which speaks volumes about how great Mitsubishi's quality is. All in all, another AWESOME & UNIQUE Mitsubishi Elevator System that I'm very happy to have gotten the chance to ride, and I look forward to seeing Mitsubishi's continued expansion in the USA over the coming years and what's in store for us as elevator enthusiasts!
