Me and a few friends went to the Kipling GO station platform because CP 440 was stopped on the south track right next to it so we could get some photos/video of the train. Little did we know, CP 240 pulled up right beside it in the same spot on the north track! Both trains had the "stop" signal just east of the station. CP 440 waits at the red light for The Obico Yard Job to switch from the south track to the south service track to pick up a cut of Intermodal cars, GO 155, GO 157, and GO 159 and CP 240 waits for GO 155, GO 157, and GO 159, and CP 245 with a great lash-up. All the trains except The Obico Yard Job CP 440 and CP 240 we're waiting for we're on Track 1 (the north siding track). 1. The Obico Yard Job led by CP 8211 and StL&H 8245 are going to pick up a cut of Intermodal cars on the south service track then later bring them back to Obico Yard. 2. CP 440 led by CP 9004 and CP 5932 leading an eastbound mixed freight/Autorack train is ready and the first to depart Kipling GO station after getting the clear signal to proceed east to Toronto. Thanks goes to the engineer for the horn salutes. 2. CP 245 led by CP 6050, CP 5924, and DME 6081 lead a westbound Autorack/mixed freight train from Toronto to Chicago. 3. CP 240 led by CP 8603 and CP 6038 in elephant style leading an eastbound Autorack/mixed freight train is ready to depart Kipling GO station after getting the clear signal to proceed east to Toronto. 4. GO 163 arrives into and departs Kipling GO station making all station stops westbound to Milton with GO 250 leading and GO 611 pushing the train. Thanks goes to the engineer for the horn salute. and 5. CP 642 led by CP 5995, CITX 2790 [ex UP], ICE 6404, and ICE 6456 lead an eastbound Ethanol train through Kipling GO station enroute to Providence, RI. Thanks goes to Jay (crazeejay2006) and Mike (trainboi21) for the heads up. Enjoy and thanks for watching! :D ©2010 TheEtobicokeRailfan
