At a MedWHOLE medical outreach in Gosa Community, we met Joy — one year and four months old, and already carrying more than any child should. Joy lost her mother at four months old. Her aunt brought her to the outreach, hoping to find help. During her consultation, the concerns were acute and severe — She was underweight and severely malnourished. She needed support, beyond a one-day fix. So MedWHOLE stayed. Over the months that followed, Joy received consistent nutritional support and monitoring. Slowly, her strength returned. Today, Joy stands. She plays. She eats well. She thrives. One act of timely compassion. One little girl on her journey to wholeness. There are more children like Joy waiting for care.
