The 2014 Film Independent Directors Close-Up series offers filmmakers and film lovers a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from the most prominent directors working today, and their collaborators, as they explore specific aspects of their craft. The program takes place one night a week, over five weeks from February -- March 2014 at The Landmark -- West Los Angeles. Each night will delve into specific aspects of directing. Writing, casting, and how to elicit compelling performances from actors are among some of the topics that will be covered.
