This is the game's longest level, even with two major skips in the level. Immediately, you want to switch to guitar guy and just spam his attack. This kills the rising bubbles that are spawning ahead of you. You will keep this up until you start bouncing on the mushrooms. The first skip is built into the game and is an intended shortcut, I think. it's found at 0:12 seconds into the video. Simply hold right and you're done! The next trick is a quick jump that saves you some time. It's pretty difficult and requires precise jump timing. Starting at 0:26 seconds, the player must land on the yellow block as it appearing, thus giving you a tiny tiny window to jump onto the red block and further onto the next block. This saves about 4 seconds of waiting time. The second skip, occurs at 0:53 seconds. The player is to intentionally fal down and land in the below platforms. Using guitar guy's weapon to shoot through the walls, you can open the gate that blocks your way. This is a much faster method to gettign the key. The rest of the level is just making sure you keep the super scope to kill the boss faster. I like to jump over it and get it on my way back from getting the key.1:44
