Used products: Trizact grinding discs (A160, A65) - Rebel One finishing disc (SAGR/5/S104) - RCD flap disc (RCD/ME/125) - tex flap wheel (FMTM/80/120110) - tex belt (VT/RC2/675X40TB) - InoxiClean Spray (SPIC) To finish this welded letterbox in stainless steel to a flawless brushed structure, first use the Trizact grinding disc, which you can also find in our Time Savings Kits. Use this disc to remove the weld seam, without smoothing out the sharp edges. Make small, even movements to grind as localised as possible. Then go over the grinded surface with a slightly finer grit to further refine the grinding pattern. Repeat both steps for all surfaces of the letterbox, then use our unitized finishing disc to prepare the surface for brushing. Apply the perfect brushed structure with a tex flap wheel mounted on our Finimaster machine. Finally, clean the workpiece with InoxiClean Spray for a glossy end result. For the round support leg of the letterbox, use our 2-in-1 RCD finishing disc to remove the weld seam everywhere while simultaneously preparing the surface for brushing. Then brush the top with the same tex flap wheel as before. Finally, use a reinforced tex belt on our Finitube machine to provide the entire length of the support leg with the desired structure. Do this in a controlled manner for a beautiful, homogeneous finish. Finish with the InoxiClean Spray.
