This week I'm sharing a 20 minute masoor dal that doesn't require a pressure cooker. I've been making this masoor dal with methi tadka a lot lately because poor Maahi is afraid of the pressure cooker. This masoor dal is such a quick and easy cook which makes it a perfect dal for week nights, and the 1:3 ratio guarantees success every time. In addition, the flavour of the methi tadka will soon become one of your favourites - at least I hope so. The best thing about this is that even Maahi enjoys it.
