Ribquest has provided two Velocity 2 Chase boats for the INEOS sailing team UK. The Ribquest boats have successfully completed testing and are ready for America’s Cup 202. Equipped with the latest Honda marine engine, they can reach speeds of 60 knots and beyond. In addition, the 12m long chase boats also come equipped with all the modern bells and whistles including 4G and Wifi connectivity. America’s Cup is among the oldest yachting events in history and dates back to the distant 1851. And although the race takes place around the Isle of Wight, it gets its name from its first ever winner – a yacht called America. In all these years, however, Britain has not yet won the trophy it gave the world. And this is where INEOS comes into play. This year, four-time Olympic gold medalist and star sailor Ben Ainslie has teamed up with INEOS Team UK in order to win it back. But what does Honda and the America’s Cup have in common? Honda UK will be aiding the INEOS America’s Cup performance with three BF250 Honda Marine Outboards.
