The hostel rooms are all right. I can't say that they are very good. But, I had a good experience. I was satisfied, because I used my room just to sleep, get ready for the day and keep my study material and luggage safe. There are many hostel wings like G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7.. So, where you get your hostel room the answer depends on it. The G2 and G1 are old hostels and consists of 4 seaters/beds, you can roam and sit in veranda as these hostels are comparatively good than other wings. They have good space. The rooms have good ventilation than the rooms of G4 Hostel, but G4 hostel's good thing is that it has 2 seater rooms. So, this hostel has least crowd. The G3 Hostel is new one and has good 4 seater rooms. The G8 has attached bathrooms and are quite good rooms. It's rare but, you might once get an experience of water supply cut for a day. But don't you worry, by evening the supply starts. This is what I experienced once in a semester. The hostel area cleaning part is taken care by BVG. But, you have to clean up your own room. The mess facilities is also available in the hostel campus where you can get your lunch and dinner. BUT by rules, you cannot cook food inside your room. You get vehicle parking lot next to hostel. Security point of view, I feel hostels are very safe. The hostel has its reading hall/library where you can find silence for self study. And there is a Volleyball and Basketball court inside hostel campus. So, it's a fun when you go there in the evening and enjoy playing with your friends. The hostel campus is lush green and peaceful. The boys' hostel is quite close to the main gate so it's easy to get out of the campus to buy some needful things quickly. I will not end up my answer by saying that it's an excellent hostel. Surely, it needs some more improvements. Nevertheless, if you keep your own room clean enough and stay hygiene (take bath everyday), enjoy some sports and study hard, then you might enjoy your hostel stay here
