As one of the most modern cities in the world, its sometimes difficult to experience "old China", and I've been searching these places out. Shanghai was established as a city around the 1200's, and although really only rose to prominence in the 1900's, has a significant history and culture that can be found if only we search for it. In this video, we take a walking tour through the history, street food, and culture of Shanghai Old Road 上海老街! Its one of the oldest roads in Shanghai, and traces its roots back to the original establishment of the city.
