Hey everybody, Joel from the vape channel, today we got a fun one for you. Attack of the clones, today we’re going to talk about the real deal mech mods vs. clones. I'm also going to explain electronic mods if your new this, if your a newer vapor, don't worry I got you covered too. What's the difference between a mech mod a mechanical mod and an electronic mod? Real simply put and electronic mod has wires and stuff in it, it’s like a robot. Right, who doesn't like robots? What that means is when you have an electronic mod you can adjust voltage up and down just by using one battery . I get a lot of people who don't want to get mechanical mods but they are looking for something that they can re-build on. Right now, I've been playing with is this new e-mech. It has the cool transformers logo, more than meets the eye. This mod will do 6 volts but it goes up to 30 watts. 30 watts, do you know how many watts that is? Its 30! 30 watts...This thing is a lot of fun because its got 2 8-650 batteries in here . It’s got a calendar a clock , and for some reason it has a flashlight. I don't know but its cool it’s got all the bells and whistles . It’s kind of a neat toy. Back in the day all you could get is a an e-go battery that can only hit about 3.7 volts or one of these bad boys. Now when I put and 18 650 battery in here it only hits at 3.7 voltsish, that will depend on the life of your battery, how old your battery is , stuff like that. If you wanted to do 6 volts on one of these things you would have to stack two batteries, no bueno, don't stack batteries! Not safe! A lot of people you'll see if your reading around on the Internet today, they’re going " Clones ! Oh my god! These are terrible! " . Get the real deal! Now my opinion, everyone is different, if you going to buy a clone mod or if your gong to buy a mechanical mod the real deal is always the nice thing. Support the vendor that makes it. That's pretty much all it is. If your vaping on a budget and your not rich , like me!, a clone mod is not that bad. There is always ways to upgrade , new springs, new buttons and you can use mechanicals , now why can't I use a mechanical or a rebuild able atomizer on one of these. Simply put electronic mods have a safety build into them , when you have a safety that goes under , most of them are around 1.1, there are couple out there that do1.5 , some of these like the inking they say they can do .8, that all depends. People that are using mech mods that are rebuildables are basically trying to do sub om. that means it’s going to be under 1.0 ohm . Are there dangers in this? Yes there can be if you don't know what your doing. If you’re getting into rebuilding and it’s a fun thing to do go to your local store ask someone to help you. Don't jump into it blindly unless your like an electrician cause then maybe who knows. What you want to do is go find someone who knows what they are doing , do some research, and I always say research, research! don't get 1 opinion , don't get 2 get 10. Someone is going to give your the right answer, I hope . When you buy the real deal you support a vendor, when you get a clone, your vaping on a budget. IF you’re like me , I work I have a job, I'm in a hurry I don't have time to sit around building coils all day. As much as I'd like to rebuild and its fun , when I have to go to work sometimes tin the morning I'm in a hurry to get up and go to work. When I do the first thing I do is fill up a tank and go. I like dual coils tanks , they have a bunch of new technology coming with tanks . We could talk about all the kinds of tanks that they have but check it our for yourself. Right now, I'm doing the kanger aero tank mega this thing hits like a truck. Coming out with sub ohm coils for this, why? So that way you won't have to build your own, I’ve heard stuff about them, I won't tell you what I think about them until I try them myself. But stay tuned cause on the vape channel; I’m going to have sub ohm coils!!! This is going to be so awesome! Sub ohm coils! Sub ohm coils!
