The 2nd event day of the 2025 NRHS Convention was a steam excursion over the Little River Railroad & the Indiana Northeastern Railroad from Coldwater to Hillsdale (for a lunch stop), then south to Montgomery (for a few photo run-bys), then from there back to Hillsdale. At Coldwater, Little River Railroad 4-6-2 no. 110 led the convention special for the first six miles from Coldwater to Quincy, where we would meet the Nickel Plate 765. Once at Quincy, the 110 would uncouple from the train and the 765 took over for the rest of the excursion trip.
