Laying Composite Decking In Mum’s Lovely Courtyard Garden 😊

In today’s video Richard is removing Mum’s 20+ year old rotting and dangerous old wooden decking with brand new durable and long lasting composite decking. All the composite decking, spacers and screws used in this video are from: www.edecks.co.uk Composite decking boards are made up of wood and plastic. The wood particles can be anything from sawdust, wood chips and wood fibre pieces. The plastic components can be either virgin or recycled plastic materials. Current estimates have the lifespan of modern composite decks at between 30-50 years, depending on how well they were installed, cared for and maintained. Unlike wood decking, composite decks do not have to be sealed. We hope you enjoy seeing the process of renewing Mum’s decking which is now safe for her to use again.
