Facelift Big Boy 2 WFP Backpack brought back from the dead

Welcome to the AW Services YouTube Channel In this video, I bring a facelift big boy 2 backpack back from the dead!! a few repairs, improvements & general service . His backpack's 12v 12Ah battery retaining strap had broken due to it being plastic, so I remanufactured a replacement from aluminium flat bar stock due to this not being a standard replacement part from the Window cleaning warehouse Also, the rubber tank gasket is another part they do not stock, so I made a new one from 20 x 2mm neoprene self-adhesive tape The battery in this backpack didn't have it's normal copper lugs but instead it had solder recessed connections which needed to be heated and the solder vacuum pumped out of before installing the new wiring loom and soldering into place. I then added some high-quality hot glue to stop and wear and tear on the wiring and also to stop moisture degrading to finish joints. After checking all the wiring and connectors I found a corroded inline fuse holder, a loose negative terminal on the speed controller loom & the speed controller PCB had come loose from it's mount and also a dead short on one of the LEDs replacement fuse: 10 amp (20x5mm) fast blow glass fuse The backpack is now fully serviceable and clean, repackaged, and ready for dropping off at the post office for next day delivery a successful 3 hours turnaround If this video has helped you, then please give the video a thumbs up subscribe and support the channel press the bell icon for notifications when a new video is added to the channel Many thanks for watching
