With Dorothy Malone, Pat Boone, Patsy Kclly, and Ricardo Montalban. The MOTW casting directors sure knew how to come up with eclectic ensembles, to say the least. A press release described the movie as "a story of mystery and humor" with Davis as "a private investigator who takes on Dorothy Malone and her daughter, Victoria Vetri as clients when they are harried by a 'syndicate' leader, played by Ricardo Montalban. A bit of off-bear casting has singer Pat Boone playing Sammy's duplicitous partner. • Vetri's exotic looks served her well as Miss September 1967; in 1968 she was chosen Playmate of the Year.
