ERN eUROGEN Webinar 75: Follow-up in spina bifida/neurogenic bladder in children

This webinar was presented on Wednesday 28 June 2023 by Prof. Raimund Stein, Dr. Nina Younsi, both from the Center for Pediatric, Adolescent and reconstructive Urology, in the University Hospital, Mannheim, in Germany, and Dr. Bernhard Haid, from the Department of Pediatric Urology in the Hospital of the Sisters Charity, Ordensklinikum, Linz, in Austria. It is aimed at healthcare professionals. Patients with spina bifida require lifelong follow-up, starting shortly after birth. Usually things do not improve with time. Dr. Younsi first presents the topic of 'Conservative therapy and its limitations', after which Dr. Haid considers 'Follow-up: What do we really need'. Finally, Prof. Stein focuses on 'Surgical therapy: it is not only bladder augmentation'. This webinar was supported by ESPU.
