This is a late 1950’s Gibson LG-1 that has been remanufactured with the Baxendale Conversion Process. The original straight ladder bracing has been replaced with an advanced tuned scalloped bracing based on a hybrid 1930’s blend between Martin and Gibson designs that Baxendale has been refining since the late 70’s. This new bracing along with the rest of our process which also includes a plane and refret, neck reset, new bridge, new bone saddle and nut as well as new vintage style gears.
