We had not heard much about Theodore Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota before we found ourselves up in that area. We camped in our RV two nights in the Juniper Campground of the North Unit of Theodore National Park and two more nights in the Cottonwood Campground of the South Unit of the park. In 4 short days, we enjoyed hiking and exploring, and found a lot of wildlife: bison, wild turkeys, prairie dogs, wild horses, a coyote and more. The unique geography of the area (part of the North Dakota Badlands) also fascinated us. During our stay, we also took the time to walk the small town of Medora, North Dakota (our pick for Top Tourist Town of 2019 in our Best Towns of 2019 video:    • Best Small Towns of 2019 | Our Favorite Pl...  ) and enjoyed the Medora Musical.
