We based ourselves in Bull Bay near Amlwch, staying in an apartment from Birch Stays (clean, quiet, sea air on tap), and spent the week exploring the best bits of Anglesey. We tried proper Anglesey mussels at Dylan’s in Menai Bridge, wandered the surreal, Martian landscape of the Copper Mountain, and walked along Rhosneigr and Porth Dafarch, two beaches that will make you forget you’re still in the UK. There were donuts from Monuts that might genuinely be the best in the country, and pizza from The Stores in Trearddur Bay that completely caught us off guard. Easily top-tier.
