Some local friends in KL told us that we absolutely needed to visit Ipoh—Malaysia’s hidden gem. They said the food here is among the best in the country, so of course, we had to check it out. After visiting Malacca and on our way to Penang, we spent a few days in this city, and it quickly grew on us. (Check out our other vlog for more on our trip!) But this video is all about Ipoh’s incredible food scene. While we couldn’t try everything in just a few days, we did our best! From the famous beggar’s chicken and curry bun to Ipoh white coffee and frozen beer, we tasted some unforgettable flavors. And we already can’t wait to come back for more! What about you?
