I used the wrong mallets in the beginning. I'm so sorry everyone!! Raindrops on Scales at the end of the video. and my dogs... Hands down, if you can get a mic'd drum, do it. Period. Completely different sound compared to the others. They are cut differently and that directly impacts the sound and resonance. Every single drum I own is toned differently too. There is no standardized placement, just a general pattern. When they all have that same general pattern, it's simple to go from one drum to another with minor adjustments to capture the correct note. It was well worth the wait and the price. Should have a better bag with padding like all the other drums o have came with. My favorite are my New Wave and White Panda 15. I love the way my white 15 panda drum sounds and am excited for is replacement.
